These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Interscan Skip Hire website and the skip hire services provided by Interscan Limited (“Interscan Skip Hire”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking a skip, requesting a quotation, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Interscan Skip Hire is a registered waste carrier providing skip hire services across London and the South East of England. We offer domestic and commercial skip hire, with same-day and next-day delivery where available, and environmentally responsible waste disposal.

2. Booking
Bookings may be made through our website, by phone, or by email.
When making a booking, you must provide accurate information, including:

Delivery address

Contact details
-
Skip size
-
Type of waste
-
Preferred delivery date
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or, for approved business customers, when credit terms have been agreed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where incorrect information has been provided or where delivery cannot be completed safely.

4. Delivery
We aim to provide same-day or next-day delivery where possible, but delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:

Traffic
-
Weather
-
Vehicle breakdowns

Road closures
-
Council restrictions
-
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
If a delay occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to keep you informed.
5. Access Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that our vehicles can safely access the delivery location.
The delivery area should:

Be level and stable

Be free from overhead cables or obstructions

Allow sufficient space for our vehicle to manoeuvre
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access or unsafe conditions, additional charges may apply.
6. Skip Placement
Our driver will place the skip in the safest practical position.
Once placed, the skip must not be moved by the customer.
Where a customer instructs us to place a skip on private property, they accept responsibility for obtaining the landowner’s permission where necessary.
7. Road Permits
If your skip is placed on a public road, pavement, or highway, a permit from the local council may be required.
Where requested, Interscan Skip Hire can arrange the permit on your behalf.
Please note:

Permit fees are charged separately where applicable.

Processing times vary between councils.

Council permit fees are generally non-refundable once submitted or approved.
8. Hire Period
Our standard hire period is up to 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
If you require the skip for longer, please contact us before the hire period expires.
Additional hire charges may apply for extended hire.
9. Loading Your Skip
The skip must not be:

Filled above the top edge

Overloaded
-
Loaded in a way that makes transportation unsafe
Our driver may refuse collection if the skip is unsafe to transport.
Additional charges may apply if waste needs to be removed before collection.
10. Heavy Materials
Heavy materials such as:

Soil

Hardcore
-
Concrete
-
Bricks
-
Rubble
may only be placed in suitable skip sizes.
Please contact us if you are disposing of heavy waste to ensure the correct skip is supplied.
11. Prohibited Waste
The following items must not be placed in our skips unless prior approval has been given:

Batteries
-
Tyres
-
Paints and solvents

Oils and fuels

Chemicals

Medical waste

Fire extinguishers

Explosives

Hazardous waste

Refrigeration equipment

Electrical items requiring specialist disposal
If prohibited waste is found, additional disposal charges will apply and collection may be delayed.
12. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:

Using the skip legally

Preventing unauthorised use

Keeping children away from the skip
-
Ensuring safe loading
-
Not lighting fires inside the skip
-
Keeping access clear for collection
13. Collection
Collection should be arranged once your skip is ready.
The skip must remain accessible.
If our vehicle cannot collect due to blocked access or parked vehicles, a wasted journey charge may apply.
14. Prices
All prices are subject to applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

15. Recycling
We are committed to environmentally responsible waste management.
The majority of waste collected through our services is sorted and recycled wherever possible in accordance with UK environmental regulations.
16. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Interscan Limited.
You may not reproduce or distribute website content without written permission.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the value of the booking.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
